We are thrilled to share some exciting news: Mercury Lifts has been shortlisted for the National Family Business of the Year Awards 2026, run by Family Business United. We have been nominated in the North of England People’s Choice category, and the winner is decided entirely by public vote.
This recognition means a great deal to us. As a family business, everything we do is built around long-term values: looking after our customers properly, delivering quality work we are proud of, and growing something that stands for something. Being shortlisted alongside other outstanding family businesses from across the North of England is a genuine honour.
The People’s Choice award is special because it is decided by the people who matter most: our customers, our community, and the people who know us. If Mercury Lifts has ever installed, serviced, or maintained a lift for you, or if you simply believe in what family businesses stand for, we would love your support.

Thank you to everyone who has trusted us with their business over the years. This nomination is as much yours as it is ours.
